Designed to streamline your workflow and support informed clinical decisions, the Merlin@home\u2122 transmitter works with the Merlin.net\u2122 Patient Care Network (PCN) for easy and efficient remote care patient management.<\/p>\n

Efficient Remote Maintenance Management<\/h5>\n

The Merlin@home\u2122 transmitter enables effective remote care management of patients with implanted cardiac devices through scheduled transmissions and daily alert monitoring. You can supplement or replace in-clinic visits with remote patient transmissions.<\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h5>\n

The transmitter is easy to set up and use. Patients need a power outlet and fixed telephone line, cellular adapter or broadband service. Simply plug the transmitter near where they sleep and the RF transmitter will automatically monitor their device while they sleep.<\/p>\n

When device data is read, the Merlin@home transmitter automatically transmits the information to the secure Abbott website, Merlin.net\u2122 Patient Care Network (PCN), where you can view it.<\/p>\n

Providing patients with a Merlin@home transmitter allows you to take advantage of some of the more advanced features of Merlin.net PCN, such as:<\/p>\n

  • Daily monitoring of patient disease status and device performance<\/li>\n
  • Better remote patient monitoring compatibility through automatic upload of data with RF devices and transmitters<\/li>\n
  • Pairing the transmitter with the patient device at any time; remote monitoring can be enabled as early as the day of implant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
