Mo.Ma™ Ultra Proximal Cerebral Protection Device | Environmental Interventions

Use the Mo.Ma™ Ultra proximal brain protection device to contain and remove debris of any size that may become dislodged during interventional procedures in the carotid arteries. The Mo.Ma Ultra device with double occlusion balloon system allows the creation of proximal embolic protection before passing through the carotid lesion.

Description

MARKERS

The Mo.Ma™ Ultra cerebral protection device is intended for use during angioplasty and stenting of lesions located in the ICA and/or lesions involving the carotid bifurcation. This device protects the brain from cerebral embolism throughout the entire duration of the intervention, preventing serious and disabling complications. The system allows for cerebral protection prior to target lesion migration as well as removing debris by blood aspiration at any stage during the procedure.

Mo.Ma double balloon

Mo.Ma Ultra is indicated for use in patients eligible for carotid angioplasty and/or stenting of the ICA and/or carotid bifurcation and stenosis with a reference diameter of 3 to 6 mm of the ECA and a reference diameter of the CCA of 5 to 13 mm.

PROXIMAL BRAIN PROTECTION

Antegrade flow from the common carotid artery (CCA) and backward flow from the external common carotid artery (ECA) are temporarily suspended by dual inflation, which provides proximal cerebral protection.

DOUBLE OCCLUSION BALLOON SYSTEM

  • It uses highly conformable, elastomeric balloons that provide atraumatic flow suspension and stability.

GUIDE-CATHETER TECHNOLOGY

  • Provides excellent traceability, support and stability for ease of lesion migration and correct stent placement.
