The Durata™ defibrillation lead is a cardiac lead designed to offer high performance handling, greater control of the implant, and a proven long-term durability platform.

Lead Reliability with Optimum Lead Insulation

The Durata defibrillation lead has a proven structural design. It uses Optim™ lead insulation, a unique material with excellent long-term durability, and thin, 7 Fr sizing that better accommodates multiple leads in a single cup.

The Durata defibrillation lead is designed to handle challenging ICD lead cases, including multiple lead systems, lead replacement, or patients with small or convoluted vessels.

Long Term Performance

The Durata defibrillation lead uses proprietary Optim lead insulation, a unique hybrid of silicone and polyurethane designed to:

Minimize lead wear
Increase flexibility and lubricity
Provide on-lead and lead-can corrosion resistance in multi-end systems
Limit tissue growth to choke coils using silicone-filled flat wire coils

Built on the proven QuickFlex™ µ tip platform, the Quartet™ four-pole LV tip offers outstanding deliverability with exceptional stability and performance. Studies reflect an average implant success rate of approximately 97%.

Better Management of Heart Failure Symptoms

We designed our breakthrough quadrupole technology to provide better management and outcomes for heart failure patients. With four electrodes and up to 14 pacing configurations, the quadripolar system provides left ventricular (LV) pacing at the site of choice without sacrificing electrode stability for better management of heart failure patients.

Heart failure patients undergoing implantation of unipolar and bipolar CRT devices may experience difficulties with phrenic nerve stimulation, high pacing thresholds, and unresponsiveness to CRT therapy. Managing these challenges can result in longer implant times and surgical revisions.

Quadripolar technology can help you meet these challenges by giving you greater pacing flexibility without sacrificing lead stability.

Tendril STS Pacing Lead

The Tendril STS pacing lead is the most preferred Abbott active fixation lead. It is a 6FR-compliant lead optimized to provide flexibility and superior handling properties with greater flexibility at the lead-endocardium interface.

Small Diameter Lead

Compatible with the 6F introducer, the Tendril STS lead facilitates implantation. The slim profile is designed for:

improve venous passage
Accommodate additional cables in a single vessel
