Lead Reliability with Optimum Lead Insulation
The Durata defibrillation lead has a proven structural design. It uses Optim™ lead insulation, a unique material with excellent long-term durability, and thin, 7 Fr sizing that better accommodates multiple leads in a single cup.
The Durata defibrillation lead is designed to handle challenging ICD lead cases, including multiple lead systems, lead replacement, or patients with small or convoluted vessels.
Long Term Performance
The Durata defibrillation lead uses proprietary Optim lead insulation, a unique hybrid of silicone and polyurethane designed to:
- Minimize lead wear
- Increase flexibility and lubricity
- Provide on-lead and lead-can corrosion resistance in multi-end systems
- Limit tissue growth to choke coils using silicone-filled flat wire coils
